Hello and thank you in advance for the support,
I have a problem with the Display XR DIY version. It worked fine untill a week ago. When i connect the display it show me the usual messages at the begining on the diplay
but with a lower intensity/contrast,in windows 7, it search and install the drivers and in the "Devices and Printers" is normally detected - XtremeRacers-Display XR.
The problem is,the display is not reconised by the Display XR Controller by Gboni and neether by the E69 Wheel by Koreea. The PID/VID are correct the software detect the rfactor program but not the display.
I suspect that is the USB cable but expect other opinions.
Thank you again.

Re: DisplayXR-DIY
Any change on your computer since the last time your DisplayXR worked well?
Diferent operaring system?
You have tried on a different USB port or wire?

Re: DisplayXR-DIY
I have not changed the hardware or windows and tried on all USB ports on my computer and on another computer and have the same behavior.
The USB cable is soldered directly on board and will be replaced.
I checked continuity and is not interrupted.
I think / afraid the PIC is burned or fault in some way.

Re: DisplayXR-DIY
I've replaced the USB cable and two transistors BC547 and behave the same as before.
Tomorrow I'll buy two 74HC959N and replace them.
If he it behaves the same remains the PIC.
Keep in touch....

Re: DisplayXR-DIY
I replaced both integrated 74HC595 and behave the same.
It remains to rewrite PIC, hoping that is not broken.

Re: DisplayXR-DIY
Good luck with your test on the board. It's a shame but most of the experts or developers of the DXR don't visit our forum from a while.
