Welcome to the
fifth edition of the SR 24H de la Sarthe.
The event mod, which is based on the "Enduracers SP1", can be obtained by means of the sync. The sync is available in the Website's Download Area.

Aiming to achieve a compromise between the options of having 2 or 4 different vehicle classes the event will be run with the vehicle classes GT1, GT2 and LMP, with the LMP representing the LMP1 class. The main grid will consist of 14 LMP, 13 GT1 and 13 GT2 cars.

The complete rules will be published on 04.04.2011, here are the most important facts:
- choice of vehicle with in each vehicle class is unrestricted
- every team can choose a car itself
- a race team can register up to 3 vehicles, with the first 2 having to be chosen from different vehicle classes, in case of a possible third car there are no restrictions.
- evaluation races will be run on 05.04.2011 and 07.04.2011 in order to provide a chance to test the vehicles under race conditions
- the registration opens on 09.04.2011 which is when teams need to post their choice of vehicle

Therefore a complete 3 weeks are provided for testing until the individual choice of vehicle class and car has to be made. During a registration stage a team may change its mind once only.

No conviene ser cagaprisas, pero ya sabemos que esta es una de las carreras con más tirón y hay que estar al loro de los plazos y demás para no quedarse fuera.
Pongo las fechas más importantes a tener en cuenta:

The registration will consist of 3 stages:
Stage 1 / 09.04.-10.04.2011: Every racing team may register 1 vehicle in any of the vehicle classes. At least 2 drivers need to be listed for the team in the forum and the League System when registering the team.
Stage 2 / 11.04.-12.04.2011: Every racing team may register 1 vehicle in any of the vehicle classes if they have not registered a vehicle at all yet. Teams that already registered a vehicle in stage 1 have to list their second team in one of the other vehicle classes. At least 2 drivers need to be listed for the team in the forum and the League System when registering the team. In case of this being a racing team's second registration, 2 different drivers than in stage 1 need to be listed.
Stage 3 / 13.04.-19.04.2011: Every racing team may register 1 vehicle in any of the vehicle classes if they have not registered a vehicle at all yet or if this is the team's third registration. Teams that already registered a vehicle in stage 1 have to list their second team in one of the other vehicle classes. At least 2 drivers need to be listed for the team in the forum and the League System when registering the team. In case of this being a racing team's second or third registration, 2 different drivers than in stage 1 and/or stage 2 need to be listed.

6th TR: 14.05. 20:00 cet 2h lenght
7th TR: 17.05. 20:00 cet 2h lenght (night test; in-game time set to dusk at the start)
8th TR: 21.05. 20:00 cet 2h lenght (night test; in-game time set to dusk at the start)
9th TR: 24.05. 20:00 cet 2h lenght (night test; in-game time set to dusk at the start)

1st QR: 14.04.2011, 20:00 cet, 1h length
2nd QR: 16.04.2011, 20:00 cet 1h length
3rd QR: 19.04.2011, 20:00 cet 1h length

Sinceramente, creo que yo tampoco voy a poder dedicarle el tiempo suficiente a estas labores. Estoy de 9 a 9 fuera de casa, y cuando llego casi ni me apetece ponerme delante del volante como para pelearme con los alemanes...

¿Cómo vas de tiempo crobol? Si no siempre puedo encontrar a alguien que desempeñe esa labor al menos para esta prueba.

Como era de esperar, se me fué la olla por completo con este tema

Estoy hablando con Lutz Engler vía Skype, y me está pidiendo nombres para registrar un equipo, a ser posible que no sea LMP. Como podéis ver en su web, los plazos de preregistro han vencido y en teoría ahora solo podemos registrar un equipo, pero está intentando meter mano para meternos otro mas (no promete nada). Cada equipo es de un máximo de 5 personas así que con dos equipos deberíamos ir sobrados de espacio.

Así que por ahora necesito 5 nombres para enviarle esta noche un correo electrónico. En principio la selección será por antiguedad en el grupo, pero si se os ocurre otra manera mejor para hacer esa selección será bienvenida.

EDITO: ah, y me ha pedido que no hablemos NADA con el resto del staff de SR.de, porque podemos meterlo en un problema.
